RIP Sophia Petrillo
Estelle Getty died today. She was one year older than my grandmother, and her birthday is July 25th, the day before mine!!
I'm not sure that there will ever be a television show that I love more than The Golden Girls. I'm always so happy that some of my earliest memories of TV-watching are of watching this show! (Growing up with my hippie mom, the only TV I watched was at my Grandma's house when my parents went out for the night, and she never missed an episode of GG or Empty Nest!)

Rose: Did you know they have an egg named after you Blanche?
Blanche: Oh really? How is it prepared?
