It's done!!
I'm not 100% sure what the idea behind the red outside the flower was supposed to be. I'm not too keen on it, but I'm ok with it for the moment. He said that since there is so much blending of color, the flower might need to be touched up in about a month. It has to heal first, and then when the shininess of the new skin is gone then he can work on it again. We went 2 hours with no break, so he only redid the purple flower and the eye of the bird. His eye is no longer crooked! It looks perfect. I couldn't handle much more, so Danny will do the wings when I come back for the flower. I'm definitely going to ask about the red shading on the outside, and either get him to cover it with a black shadow, like the bottom of the flower, or turn it into a sunset type thing about 1/2 inch around it. Maybe fade the red to orange and then to yellow that fades out completely. That idea is growing on me more and more (in the last hour), but I like the black work too. Who knows, I have a month to think about it! Anyway, pictures are here!
My flower has a bloody rash!! This will be good practice for me to delay gratification! I want everything perfect and I want it perfect yesterday! I can wait a month and think about what I want to do with it. I'm not thinking of it as a horrible mistake, just a reason to make the tattoo grow a little bit larger!! : D

Never underestimate how hard it is to take a picture of your own shoulder!!
The color is truer in the first picture, but see those 3 spots of red on the right side? Those are very obvious from the front of my shoulder, and don't look quite so cute!

Befo' aaannnd Afta!!

Benjamin is all gooey, but he doesn't look like a "special" birdie anymore. : P

Here's a view o' my new front-side that drew you in to the post in the first place!!!
Look! I have a "special" eye too!! Haha, I have the uncanny ability to make my eyes look so weird in pictures!!
